Credits

How credits are granted, spent, and tracked.

Generating content costs credits. Your balance is shown in the credit indicator in the app, and in detail on the Credits page.

Where credits come from

Your available balance is the sum of separate pools:

PoolDescription
DailyCredits granted each day on plans that include them. They reset daily.
PlanCredits that come with your plan each month.
Top-upCredits you add on top of your plan.
ReservedCredits held while a generation is in progress.

Open Credits to see each pool, and the plan and the date your credits reset.

What costs credits

Each generation is charged when it runs. The cost depends on the tool and the model you choose. Models list their credit cost in the model picker. See Choose a model and Generate media.

Credit status

Rolit warns you as your balance falls: it is treated as low at 20% remaining or less, critical at 5% or less, and depleted at zero.

Review your usage

The Credits page shows:

  • Available Credits and your plan.
  • Service Usage: credits spent per service type in the current period, as a chart.
  • Provider Usage: credits spent per model provider.
  • Recent Activity: each charge or grant, with the project it belongs to. Entries are labelled, for example Daily Credit Grant, Plan Credit Grant, or Image Generation. Select an entry for details such as the model used. Use Open Run or View Project to jump to where it was spent.

Credit purchases and plan upgrades aren't documented yet because checkout isn't available in the app. To change plans, see Plans.
